Quick post in before math class:
Sep. 15th, 2008 04:11 pmI can't seem to find my keys, which is okay, since I only need them to get into the house and mom's friend is still staying with us after the surgery, so if it comes to it (though not today since I have class till around ten) she could open the door. Still, I miss my keeeeys, with the keychain shaped like a spine and a mini measuring tape attached. (I've never used the measuring tape more than once, but I have confused many a person with the spine.)
This morning in Modern Philosophy, I asked a question which stumped the teacher, but which he also noted as being ultimately inconsequential. We were discussing hobbes and asked whether Hobbes' "phantasms" as he he called them, referred to thought itself as an impetus for action, or some sort of pre-thought. He said that it was a great question. Then he said he didn't know. Then he said that it was both. Then he said it didn't really matter in the big picture anyway, since that term doesn't matter anymore. ...so....go me?
The test in Brit Lit went nicely, I think. I was able to match character descriptions to names, and I think my essay went well...though I don't think I contrasted enough. The only thing I couldn't remember was what Chaucer's various occupations were and in what century he had them. So, crossing fingers, I think I did well. We'll see how tough of a grader he is.
...okay, more later, math class now. Eep.

Angsty!Owen is angsty

Fic I've been working on is about half done and very rough. I think I'll get the rest done soon, then have to go over it and fix all the crappiness. As it stands now, it's around 500 words...and it need to be filled out a lot, so I'm guessing the completed length at around 1000, maybe 1200. Nice little one-shot. I have no idea why I'm writing it though. I feel like I'm hitting a cute little undead puppy with a stick. And then making it fetch.
Anyone in for beta-ing Zombie!Owen angst when I've finished?
