Where did the term 'hot shit' come from anyway? It makes no sense.

I am helping to write a research paper for my mom's boss. He's a manager of an entire department and he's coming to me for advice and help in a class I've never taken. And he's paying me!

Previously, I've been a sort of unofficial grammatical consultant and helped out by explaining some parts of Hamlet, but this is hilarious and makes me feel like hot shit.

On the other hand, his writing is one hell of a chore to slog through and fix.
