Jan. 26th, 2009 11:02 amI slept on the couch last night and woke up a little before five this morning. Considering that I have two classes this afternoon and then one tonight (damn German being only at night!) I should be at death's door at roughly ten tonight. Still, I like getting up early. For the first few hours it seems like a very good idea. Until you find yourself tired at two in the afternoon.
At the moment, I am in the glistening glow of optimism and determination to do exceedingly well this semester. I have in my head the outlines of study schedules, early hours, exercise, and an outstanding improvement to my GPA. I think, though, that this is the same as the getting-up-early effect, and in two weeks I will be getting up at ten and whimpering about essays.
