But WAIT! Do you like breasts!?
Sep. 1st, 2009 12:56 amSorry, no boobs in this post. The title is a line from the Girls Gone Wild commercial I saw yesterday. (I just keep imagining some dude sitting on his couch: "Oh, breasts, you say? Well, I was going to change the channel, but now I think I'll stick around.")
ANYWAY. I haven't had a proper update-you-on-my-life post for a while now, so this is it. Have finished with my first week of classes and, save my T'ai Chi class, they're all online, so I haven't yet had much to do.
I've been taking the T'ai Chi class with my mother...which is definitely an experience. She's a very high stress person, and not very fit, so getting her organised enough to leave on time for an exercise class isn't exactly easy. The class itself is relatively interesting, except for the white boy seemingly obsessed with Japanese culture (isn't there a name for that?) that keeps staring at me. No idea what his deal is.
In the rest of my classes I've introduced myself and started with the reading. Nothing terribly interesting there just yet.
I did pull out the guitar and I've been starting to learn again. I like the idea of being able to play a portable instrument, and I still have the book from when I took that class a while ago. So- guitar! I may be learning a Beatles song. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH FITZ OKAY.
...And I still really need a job. I've had a related idea that is either incredibly brilliant or incredibly stupid. So, um...more on that later.
