Sorow (12:15:23 AM): because you shouldn't treat people like that
Sorow (12:15:36 AM): i don't go to anyones place of work and scream and cuss at them because i had a bad day

Dibmonkey (12:18:56 AM): just because she's yelling doesn't make it okay for you to do the same.

Dibmonkey (12:23:35 AM): it's not your place to stand up to that person, especially if you don't know either party involved. The person being yelled at has every ability to stand up for themselves.

Sorow (12:24:22 AM): they're in a lose lose situation because someone higher up won't see the complain of someone who's being totally insane as such
Dibmonkey (12:26:27 AM): so, you take it on yourself to get out of your car and go confront someone else in their car? If I ever saw someone do that, no matter how mad the first person is, I'd think that they're acting crazy.

Sorow (12:30:18 AM): if you treat someone poorly, you should expect the same in return. It's silly people let stupid things happen right in front of them without saying a word about it, but anywho, this conversation has gone greatly awry, so if i may!

Dibmonkey (12:34:27 AM): It's not really an issue of an eye-for-an-eye. That sort of thing never works out. It would have been a different situation if the person had been threatening harm and you felt you had to interfere before something bad happened.

Sorow (12:53:00 AM): the simple fact is that if you treat someone unreasonably, you should expect someone to do the same to you.

Sorow (12:57:52 AM): and honestly, i don't mean to be rude or take some high road or anything, but when someone is screaming at you and threatening to take your job etcetera for something thats totally out of your control

Dibmonkey (1:02:41 AM): well, if I believed in karma (which I don't) I'd say that someone like that person would say...contract a horrible disease or get cut off in traffic, that sort of thing. Or, for the irony vote: they get yelled at in their job later that week. But I don't think people should think to themselves, hey, that person's an ass, I'm going to go be an ass to him. That's not how it works. That's just creating more contention.

Dibmonkey (1:08:02 AM): but the way you went about it, especially threatening her, was absolutely the wrong way to do it if you thought she was in the wrong, because you're doing the exact same thing. If you felt you had to approach them, wouldn't it have been so much the better if you had been calm and kind in telling them your opinion?
