cosmic_celery: (imminent headdesk!)
Me = Dibmonkey
Sorow (12:09:02 AM): how goes?
Dibmonkey (12:09:33 AM): ach, gut. Und Ihnen?
Sorow (12:11:15 AM): sehr gut. Ich hatte einen wunderbar Tag.
Dibmonkey (12:12:09 AM): hehe. good thing. what happened?
Sorow (12:12:19 AM): easy day at work
Sorow (12:12:23 AM): went out with a good buddy
Sorow (12:12:31 AM): went to jack in the box just now
Sorow (12:12:48 AM): some lady was *screaming* at the people in the drive through
Sorow (12:13:13 AM): i mean cussing, etc.
Sorow (12:14:01 AM): i got out of the car, told her she was being excessively rude and that if she didn't leave immediately i would bash her windows in
Sorow (12:14:15 AM): with a few colorful words in between
Dibmonkey (12:14:55 AM): uh...why?
Sorow (12:15:23 AM): because you shouldn't treat people like that
Sorow (12:15:36 AM): i don't go to anyones place of work and scream and cuss at them because i had a bad day
Sorow (12:15:39 AM): thats unacceptable
Sorow (12:16:05 AM): and people do that
Sorow (12:16:08 AM): day after day
Sorow (12:16:22 AM): until someone stands up and says, hey, you're actions are unacceptable
Sorow (12:16:26 AM): your
Dibmonkey (12:17:12 AM): so you had to threaten her?
Sorow (12:17:27 AM): it was ok for her to threaten other people?
Dibmonkey (12:18:56 AM): just because she's yelling doesn't make it okay for you to do the same.
Sorow (12:19:25 AM): if one puts a stop to both;p
Dibmonkey (12:20:29 AM): still sounds a bit excessive.
Sorow (12:21:35 AM): see now
Sorow (12:21:44 AM): my thought is its excessive to accept that kind of behavior.
Sorow (12:21:58 AM): you don't scream and yell at another human being, period
Sorow (12:22:11 AM): and if you think thats ok, someone should tell you its not.
Dibmonkey (12:23:35 AM): it's not your place to stand up to that person, especially if you don't know either party involved. The person being yelled at has every ability to stand up for themselves.
Sorow (12:23:52 AM): yet if they do they lose their job
Sorow (12:24:22 AM): they're in a lose lose situation because someone higher up won't see the complain of someone who's being totally insane as such
Dibmonkey (12:26:27 AM): so, you take it on yourself to get out of your car and go confront someone else in their car? If I ever saw someone do that, no matter how mad the first person is, I'd think that they're acting crazy.

...in Photoshop!
Really, for a girl that's owned a Wacom tablet for years, I'm thoroughly surprised it's taken me this long.

Reaaally old line art.

The war against the spiders has begun.  The summer heat has brought them out (and in the house) in full force. To those of you who complain about 75 degree weather, I scoff at you! Scoff! In the past few days it been in the hundreds. And boy do spiders love the heat. But! They may have eight legs, they may be tiny, creepy-crawly things, they may be potentially poisonous. But I have this:

Home Defense indeed. I have canvased the house with this stuff! I would have sprayed more but I was afraid for the feline in residence...and it was sort of burning at my hand.

So, then I opened up the living room window, for ventilation, then went to open the door as well, and there it was! A damn spider, valiantly fighting against it's soon-to-be death, just to sit on the door handle and freak me out.

...Stupid spiders.

What American accent do you have?
Created by Xavier on Memegen.net

Western. Like Midland, Western is another accent that people consider neutral. So, you might not actually be from the Western half of the country, but you definitely sound like it.

And if you're not from the West, you are probably one of the following:
(a) A Pittsburgher - the quiz can't tell the difference;
(b) Someone from Canada (probably southern Ontario) who doesn't have a Canadian accent;
(c) Someone from northern New England who doesn't have a New England accent; or
(d) Someone from Texas or the Heartland who was born after 1980.
You are definitely not from New York, New Jersey, Chicago, Detroit, the Deep South, etc.</font>

Take this quiz now - it's easy!
We're going to start with "cot" and "caught." When you say those words do they sound the same or different?
